Foundations

Thomas Blakeway Founder of Karma Construction

Thomas Blakeway is the founder of Karma Construction, a builder known for precision, creativity, and integrity. He began his career after the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes, gaining hands-on experience through his apprenticeship before spending time building in Australia and traveling through Indonesia and Mexico.

In 2021, he founded Karma Construction on a simple belief: if you do good work, good will come your way. That mindset drives every project, from architectural homes to coastal builds. Outside of work, Thomas is a husband, surfer, and homeowner who finds inspiration in design, travel, and the outdoors.
