Moa Street Project

A Seamless extension on a 1960s home in Mount Maunganui.

We were hired to add a small extension with lots of details to a 1960s home. Since it was an older property, tying the new addition to the existing structure wasn't easy. When we stripped away the old cladding, wall lining, and framing, our catchphrase onsite was "Good thing we specialize in cans of worms" We got the foundation right, built the new frame, and then connected it to the original building. We worked closely with the council and the designer to make any necessary changes. Once the project was complete, the house looked like it was always meant to be that way. We finished the work faster than expected so the client asked us to add a new hardwood deck and front fence to match his home's style.
